Meet Karine
Karine Hajje is a certified Humanist Officiant in Ontario, serving Toronto, the GTA, and communities across the province. Her path to this work is shaped by lived experience, resilience, and a deep belief in empathy, inclusion, and human connection. Having grown up in Toronto after immigrating to Canada as a child, Karine’s life has been shaped by diverse communities, cultures, and chosen families. She brings warmth, authenticity, and care to every ceremony, creating non-religious, deeply personal rituals that honour autonomy, dignity, and love. Karine is honoured to support individuals, couples, and families of all genders, cultures, belief systems, and identities through moments of joy, loss, and meaningful transition.

We had a small ceremony on March 18, 2026 at a hotel in Etobicoke with just the two of us, our two witnesses, and Ms. Karine, and it was perfect. She was jolly, approachable, and made everyone feel at ease.
